This highly anticipated 2023 series marks the show’s second instalment on the network, having originally aired from 2004 to 2015 before briefly moving to Channel 10. Now back on Channel Seven, the upcoming season is poised to be even more spectacular than ever before.
During an interview on The Morning Show, the show’s host, Sonia Kruger, shared some exciting insights about what fans can expect in the new season.
“We have a fresh batch of celebrities,” she revealed, clarifying that “it’s not just celebrities…These are individuals who have never participated before. They are all completely new to this.”
With production already underway, rumours about the star-studded cast have started to emerge and now we know for certain four contestants!

Laura Byrne
Laura made the exciting announcement on The Pickup alongside co-host Brittany Hockley.
“Laura, we have been on the edge of our seats for months now, wondering what this big excitement is, wondering why you’re scurrying around in secret, taking secret phone calls,” began Brittany.
“I’m not pregnant,” clarified Laura before dropping some hints. “I know that you guys think I’m particularly sexy and I’m very, very coordinated…like these limbs were made for moving baby!”
“I know that you guys describe me as having rhythm in my body…” she continued before making her announcement.

Australian landscape designer and television presenter, Charlie Albone also announced his role in the new season of Dancing With The Stars. The Selling Houses Australia host made the exciting announcement on The Morning Show.
