Farmer Dean, a 25-year-old third-generation cattle and watermelon farmer joined the 2024 season of Farmer Wants a Wife with the hopes of finding “Mrs. Deano.”
His journey on the show was quick, yet memorable after sending the remaining women home in episode six after admitting Teegan was the one. Despite their relationship ending shortly before the reunion episode aired, fans are still hopeful that the farmer will get his happily-ever-after and if his latest social media posts are anything to go by, it seems Dean has a new lady in his life!
Who is Farmer Dean now dating?
In October 2024, Farmer Dean went public with his new partner, sharing a sweet picture on Instagram alongside the caption “This farmer may of found a wife.. 😬.”
Although he hasn’t shared any further details, his fellow FWAW farmers were quick to celebrate, with Farmer Bert teasing: “When’s the wedding, I’ll be celebrant.”
“You better not be joking cause me @bertharris @tomboyerau have started planning the bucks party” added Farmer Joe.
Who is Farmer Dean?
Inspired by his parents’ 30-year marriage and his grandparents’ enduring love of 67 years, Dean joined Farmer Wants a Wife ready to chase a few cows alongside his ideal partner.
In a partner, Dean values honesty, loyalty, and a strong work ethic above all else. He seeks someone outgoing, hardworking, and driven, yet kind, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Good communication is key for Dean, who believes in sharing the highs and lows of each day with his significant other.
Though he envisions a future filled with love, marriage, and children, Dean remains firmly rooted in the present, embracing each day with positivity and gratitude. In five years, he hopes to be happily married with kids, running his own Droughtmaster bull stud, and making a positive impact on the cattle stud industry.
Are Farmer Dean and Teegan still together?
After getting to know each other, Dean and Teegan’s connection was undoubtedly the strongest on the farm.
While they may have only been on one date together, their chemistry quickly turned into a deep romance, with Dean confessing he had fallen in love with Teegan – subsequently leaving the show together before the final episode.
However, during the reunion episode which was filmed one month after the finale, Farmer Dean shared where the couple now stood, revealing that despite Teegan moving onto the farm straight away, the couple were no longer together.
“We decided to go separate ways,” admitted Farmer Dean. “It was definitely a bit of a shock.”
Inside Farmer Dean’s Journey on FWAW
The start of the new season saw farmer Dean choose five women to return to the farm with him after a round of speed dating with his potential matches.
The first episode saw him choose Bella, Teegan, Tiffany, Kate and Hayley.
24-year-old Bella quickly caught Farmer Dean’s eye. “Wow! She’s bloody beautiful. Such a strong personality, very outgoing. She’s pretty flash, that’s for sure, but we got along so well. Unbelievable,” he shared in the debut episode, before choosing the marketing professional for the first one on one date.
After returning to the farm, it soon became evident to the remaining contestants that Dean’s connection with Teegan was blossoming at a rapid rate.
Back at the farm, Bella, Tiffany, and Hayley discuss their feelings with Dean – all sharing that they feel ignored. Following the confrontation, Teegan clapped back at the other ladies, saying that neither of them had attempted to put in the effort to get to know Farmer Dean.
With tensions high, Dean decided to step away from the farm for a night to reconcile his thoughts, telling the camera, “I’ve got to be careful with the choice I make, because I don’t want to make the wrong choice.”
Clearing his head, Dean returned back to the farm and discussed his feelings with each of the ladies, revealing to Tiffany and Bella that he did not feel as strong of a connection with them as he did with Teegan.
Away from the emotional conversations, Teegan revealed to the camera that she felt she had already begun to fall for Dean, saying, “I’m absolutely going to fight for Dean, and I do feel like we have a strong connection.
“I think I am falling in love and I am feeling those feelings, and I’m definitely willing to express those and let him know that’s how I feel.”
Fortunately for Teegan, Dean confessed his love for her at the conclusion of their first week on the farm.
“As soon as we locked eyes, I was like, ‘Woah, she’s a stunner,’ and I was so excited to meet you. There’s been a massive connection from day dot really.”
“It feels like the right time to say it. Teegan, I have fallen in love with you. I want this journey between me and you to start,” Dean continued, with the couple becoming the first to depart the 2024 season of Farmer Wants a Wife.
Who did Farmer Dean eliminate?
Tiffany
In her final week on the farm, Tiffany dropped a major bombshell when she revealed to her fellow contestants that Teegan may have a boyfriend outside of the show.
Confronting Farmer Dean, Tiffany questioned whether he had any true intentions of getting to know her or Bella, which prompted Dean to take a short break away from the farm.
“I’ve got three beautiful ladies there all trying to find love and I’m feeling very torn,” he shared.
Bella
While she may have been chosen for the first solo date, Bella’s time on the farm came to a close when Farmer Dean confessed his love to Teegan.
Ahead of her departure, Bella questioned whether Dean was truly committed to getting to know all three ladies, telling the camera, “There are questions to ask – why are we here? Do you want us here? Are we just wasting our time?”
Sadly, Dean revealed that his connection with Bella was not one he would continue to pursue, telling her, “I’m here to find love and I just don’t feel that love between me and you.”
Hayley
After discovering that Farmer Dean had received an anonymous text message claiming Teegan had a boyfriend outside of the show and following Dean’s reaction to the news, Hayley decided that it was time for her to leave the farm.
“It’s so obvious that him and Teegan’s connection is very strong already. Is it worth waiting for a date?” Hayley said ahead of her departure.
Kate
After the first day on the farm, Farmer Dean received a text from Sam Armytage instructing him to choose two ladies for a double date – before making the tough decision to send one of them home.
After enjoying a double date with both Tiffany and Kate, Farmer Dean made the difficult decision to eliminate Kate, a 29-year-old Interior designer from New South Wales.
