After many weeks immersed in the South African jungle, the star-studded journey of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here has officially drawn to a close for 2024.
From tackling gruesome tucker trials to conquering their fears in countless nerve-wracking challenges, the 12 celebrities of this year’s camp overcame some of the jungle’s most unexpected obstacles to take home $100,000 for their chosen charity.
Despite each contestant making a profound impact on camp, only one of the top three contestants could take home the jungle crown, with Skye Wheatley crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Australia 2024.
Following a sudden double-elimination, Tristan MacManus, Skye Wheatley, and Callum Hole landed their coveted places in the top three of this year’s competition.
Soaking in the final moments of their jungle experience, the remaining celebrities were treated to a long-awaited reunion with their loved ones. While their reunion came as a wholesome reprieve from jungle life, their final days in camp wouldn’t be complete without letting their family in on all the fun of a classic I’m a Celebrity challenge.
After cycling their way through the Wheel of Misfortune, Callum, Skye, and Tristan took home three stars for their final night in camp.
Enjoying a banquet dinner, the contestants reflected on their time in camp, revealing how getting back to basics has allowed them to get in touch with what truly matters.
“What I’ve had, which I have not for a long time, is time to breathe and think,” Tristan shared, adding, “I didn’t realise how much my stress was affecting my family. Maybe the way I react to things is the biggest eye-opener in here. I cannot get to get out and put it into practice.”
With their bags packed, hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin guided the celebrities through their final moments in camp, each looking back on their journey through the jungle with immense gratitude.
“I will practice gratitude every single day, just so this feeling of gratefulness sticks with me and makes me a better person,” Callum shared following his third-place exit.
After soaking in their final moments in South Africa, Tristan and Skye joined the rest of the crew in the treehouse and with the votes tallied, Skye Wheatley was officially crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2024.
