We may have reached the end of the Married At First Sight experiment, but fans are already itching for the reunion special.
In recent seasons, Channel Nine have blessed audiences with a juicy grand reunion special that brings the drama in spades.
The explosive TV special brings together the contentious cast mates for one last dinner party – months after filming wrapped, which means all your favourites have ample time to learn about what the couples said behind each other’s backs during filming.
It’s also the moment we find out if the couples are still in fact together following the final commitment ceremony and in recent years, which couples have swapped!
When is the Married At First Sight 2024 reunion airing?
Now that the MAFS Final Vows Week is complete, we only have to wait a few more nights for the reunion.
The MAFS Reunion will air Sunday, April 7 and the following night will premiere the last episode of the season – one last group session with the experts.
When was the 2024 Reunion episode filmed?
At this point, all fans know Married at First Sight is pre-recorded, and the reunion special is no different! In past years the two-part special has been recorded in December and aired the following April.
Which Married at First Sight Couples from 2024 are still together?
Impatient fans have been waiting all season to find out which couples are still together following the experiment, and after the final commitment ceremonies – an incredible four couples are still together.
Jade and Ridge, Jack and Tori, Jayden and Eden as well as Sara and Timothy were still together by the end of the experiment.
Ben Walters, who left the show after calling it quits with his on-screen wife Ellie Dix, confirmed to Ollie Skelton on the MAFSCAPS Podcast that the couple-swap of the season would play out during the reunion special.
Early on in the season, it was revealed that Ellie was now in a relationship with Jonathan McCollough, who was partnered up with Lauren Dunn in the experiment.
Although fans also thought Lucinda and Timothy would make it to the end thanks to some telling comments on radio, the couple left the experiment and confirmed they were just friends.
