It’s arguably the biggest sporting event in America but not even a global pandemic could stop the 2021 Super Bowl from going ahead. However Aussie star Rebel Wilson’s attendance at the game has not impressed everyone.

The Hollywood actress, 40, shared a series of images of herself in Tampa, Florida where the NFL game was being played.
In one, Rebel posed with the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders and in another, shared a snap from her box with Pitch Perfect co-star, Adam Devine calling him her “favourite work husband”.
Rebel also shared a photo of herself rocking a pair on sunglasses from her box with the caption: “What a Weeknd!” referring to the Halftime Show’s headline act.
Many of Rebel’s fans expressed their jealousy at her big night out and complimented the star on her impressive weight loss.
“You look gorgeous, enjoy the Super Bowl & go @kcchiefs,” one Kansas City supporter penned.
“The best!!” exclaimed another.
However, with COVID 19 cases soaring in the US many of Rebel’s followers slammed the actress and comedian for attending such a large-scale event.
“There are way too many people there during a pandemic,” one stated.
“Didn’t realise kinda-sorta celebrities were front line workers,” another slammed.
“Have fun at the Super Spreader!” a third joked.
Even her fans were unimpressed with one noting: “You look great but where is your mask in a crowd so big??”
Rebel’s outing to the Super Bowl comes hot off the heels of her reported break up with millionaire boyfriend, Jacob Busch.
“Lots on my mind…aghhhhhh…#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl!” she wrote in a cryptic Instagram post last week.
Whilst the vast majority of the comments focused on Rebel’s weight loss, some fans shared their sympathies with the actress.
“Single girl??? I hope that doesn’t mean you broke up with the hot guy you were seeing, you look absolutely amazing so beautiful x,” one wrote.
“Sounds like it’s time for some restorative alone time. Hang in there, Rebel,” penned another.
“You may have a lot on your mind, but you look fabulous and glow! Blue and yellow look so great on you! Hope your day gets better and friends spoil you!” a third remarked.
