Rita Ora may be about to join the judging panel of The Voice, but that hasn’t stopped her from having a celebrity weekend.

Over the weekend, the Yugoslavian-British pop star, 30, revealed on Instagram Stories that she was spending the wet weather like all good Brits do – with a cheeky beverage. Specifically, with fellow British star Idris Elba, his wife Sabrina, and New Zealand director Taika Waititi.
The three of them are currently here in Australia to film Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, alongside Aussie heartthrob Chris Hemsworth (who with his wife and kids officially moved to Sydney), Matt Damon, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman.
Interestingly, Elba was previously partying it up with his Thor co-star, Hemsworth.
“I just don’t want to leave, I never want to leave,” she told fans at Nova’s Red Room in Sydney.
“It’s so beautiful here for so many reasons – every time I come here it’s been so quick so it’s nice to actually be able to sit here and enjoy the culture and the people and everyone is so nice and friendly.”
Ora, who arrived in Sydney last month, made a splashing debut at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardigras earlier this month, before live-streaming a hosting spot at the Grammys from QT Hotel.
Now residing in Mosman, the Bang, Bang singer – and infamously controversial artist on TikTok – is preparing to film the next season of The Voice.

Rita Ora isn’t the only international celebrity taking their work Down Under. Stars from Natalie Portman, RuPaul Charles, Isla Fisher, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Melissa Mcarthy, and film studios like Marvel, Netflix, and RuPaul’s Drag Race producers World of Wonder have been turning to Australia and New Zealand for their upcoming film projects, thanks to the ANZ region’s glowing response to COVID-19.
