Sam Frost underwent surgery on July 28 to remove pre-cancerous cells following an abnormal pap smear.
The former Bachelor and Bachelorette star turned 2DayFM radio host revealed on air that she had a “high-grade” abnormality with “quite a bit of pre-cancerous cells.”
Asked by co-host, Rove McManus, if she had undergone a biopsy, Frost, 27, responded, “Biopsy’s been done—that is so annoying and painful!”
She assured listeners she is all right—“Nothing to be alarmed about.”—and urged them to get checked, saying, “Go to the doctor’s and get a pap smear! It is so uncomfortable and it’s the worst—I know so many of my friends put it off—but if you don’t catch it, then obviously it advances in to scarier things. But if you get it at this stage, easy-peasy, no dramas, nice simple procedure.”
