Winner of The Bachelor Holly Kingston has taken to her Instagram stories to share the moment she found out she’d be heading onto the TV show, hinting that she knew her life was about to change.
“My bestie (and hometown queen) @sambeattie1 just sent me this from the night I found out I was going on Bach,” she wrote, alongside a picture of herself smiling and holding a rose.
“This pub in Byron Bay was offering roses with cocktails …. This was the sign I needed that I was about to flip my life upside down for the better,” Holly added.
“Think you can tell by that toothy grin I knew in my gut I was making the right decision … even though it was a scary one! Thank goodness I met you @jimmynicholson.”
Holly was Jimmy’s winner at the end of the latest season, with the pilot choosing her over runner-up Brooke Cleal.
“Holly, when I think of a future with you, it’s exciting, it’s fun, it’s passionate. You make anything we do incredible and you light up any room you’re in … I can’t wait to experience all of these things with you,” he told her at the finale in Uluru.
The pair have remained in a happy relationship, and have recently moved in together.
“We may have had 18+ lovers quarrels and smell like a communal garbage disposal BUT we’re still smiling because we’ve moved in! (Kinda) 🏡👩🏼❤️💋👨🏽,” Holly captioned a mirror selfie of the two in their new home at the end of last month.
They’ve been keeping fans across the moving-in journey via Stories, sharing their pizza dates on the floor prior to a couch arriving, and their various DIY furniture projects.
They also keep Jimmy’s dog, Billie, involved.
“This little lady scored me my first single date… thanks Billie girl for leading me to my soulmate 😘,” Holly wrote to Billie on Instagram.
