On Thursday during the Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM, Kyle Sandilands revealed that he had had a very interesting conversation with the current Bachelor star Nick Cummins, that might offer some clues on what happens at the end of the reality dating show.
Speaking on the breakfast show, the 47-year-old host said, “Can I tell you what he’s told me? Off the air, he told me this… Now he’s with someone that he’s ‘loved from the beginning’,”
“Now, I don’t know whether that even means someone from the show or someone from before the show. So he’s with someone. We don’t know who. Don’t even know if it’s a girl from the show.”
Based on what Kyle revealed, it is possible to assume that Nick was referring to falling in love with a contestant on The Bachelor early in the competition, or that he was referring to a former flame.
Prior to becoming the bachelor, Nick was in a relationship with Norwegian artist Martine Thomassen for five years and lived together in Perth. In 2016, the couple split. Interestingly enough, Nick has recently been liking Martine’s Instagram posts which has sparked speculation that there might be a possible reunion on the table.
Last week an interview with Men’s Health resurfaced and it appeared that Nick was never really interested in any of the women on the show. In the interview, Nick appeared to be frustrated by the experience on the show and uninterested in the contestants. When the reported asked him who he should support as the winner, Nick responded with, “Mate, I wouldn’t put my money on 99 per cent of those girls.”
He also hinted in the interview that none of the 25 girls available matched his physical preferences. He described his perfect girl by saying, “I’d create her myself. It wouldn’t be one of the ones on the show, that’s for sure! Did you mean on the show? I mean… it… it wouldn’t be anyone that I’ve already met… If it was me on the first episode last night, it wouldn’t have been one of them”
The finale is still a week away but the Daily Mail has reported that a source close to production claimed, “The Honey Badger’s relationship is already over. This is obviously not what we wanted.”
