Married at First Sight has earned the Nine Network millions of dollars in advertising revenue, but it seems the stars of the hit show aren’t sharing in the riches.

In a question and answer session on Instagram, former MAFS star Telv Williams has spilled all on exactly how much the contestants get paid.
When asked by a fan, ‘Did MAFS pay for new outfits each week or the dinner parties or commitment ceremonies?’, Telv did not hold back.
‘You gotta do all your own hair and makeup,’ he said. ‘You gotta do your own dress, buy your own clothes.
‘You get paid $150 dollars a day, tax free. It’s s***, it’s rubbish… everything is off your own f***ing back.’
The weddings did not have a lavish budget, he revealed, with stars given a relatively modest budget of $1,500 to spend on their wedding clothes.
The revelations come amid increasing scrutiny on how the show’s stars are allegedly exploited – with some complaining they’ve been set up for bullying and abuse amid a string of scandals.
