Following a record-breaking performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Matildas are returning to the field for Round 3 of the Asian Olympic Qualifiers.
The girls in green and gold have been busy since the World Cup wrapped up in August 2023, with many heading back to the UK to play in the Women’s Super League. Meanwhile, other players put their football skills to use at home in the A-League.
Now, the Tillies have reunited to face off against Uzbekistan in the latest round of qualifying ahead of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The Matildas started their path to Paris in October 2023 when they took on Iran in their opening game of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament Paris 2024 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 in Perth.
