Kanye West deleted his Instagram and Twitter accounts on May 5, and now we know why.
The “Famous” singer shut down his accounts after the launch of his kid’s clothing line with wife Kim Kardashian West.
An insider has told Us Weekly that there is no drama behind the move.
“He wasn’t using social media that often and it wasn’t necessary for his creative process,” the insider explained.
“It wasn’t a healthy outlet for him,” the insider continued. “He’s in a different place now.”
Now West, 39, is working on things that matter to him.
He is currently producing new music in a mountain-top retreat in Wyoming.
