The season saw five farmers all find happily ever afters in what was labelled the most successful season yet…and now, it’s time to see if the beloved series can strike gold again as Seven gears up for a new season.

That’s right, Farmer Wants a Wife is back in 2024. And the best part? We have already met the Farmers! 

Shortly after the release of the 2023 season, Seven treated us to a sneak peek of the latest farmers looking for love, however, only five of the eight farmers they shared will be appearing on the show.

Bert, a fourth-generation farmer specializing in pineapple, dragon fruit, and pumpkin, embodies impeccable manners, selflessness, and honesty, making him a pick with a heart of pure gold.

Having dedicated himself to taking over the family farm and managing it single-handedly, he now seeks a special someone to share his passion and life with.

In search of the perfect partner, Bert envisions someone with a great sense of humour, outgoing nature, and a love for adventure.

Understanding the demands of his long working hours, he’s looking for someone who is able to engage in playful banter and effortlessly get along with everyone, especially his nanna.

Beneath his tough exterior, he possesses a kind-hearted nature and a mischievous sense of humour, often enjoying playful banter. Self-proclaimed as a “girlfriend guy,” Dustin seeks an ideal partner who exudes happiness, a fun-loving spirit, and resilience, with a good dose of humour.

Coming from a tightly-knit family, he places immense importance on his partner’s ability to connect with and be accepted by his loved ones.

Dean, a proud third-generation farmer, carries on the family legacy as a cattle and watermelon farmer.

Inspired by the enduring love of his parents’ 30-year marriage and his grandparents’ impressive 67-year partnership, he aspires to find his own Mrs Deano, someone willing to share in the joys of chasing cows with him.

When it comes to choosing a life partner, Dean’s criteria are simple yet meaningful. He seeks an outgoing and hardworking individual, driven by ambition, and possessing a willingness to take on new challenges with enthusiasm.

Farmer Tom, 22, Tabilk, Victoria

Meet Tom, a 22-year-old third-generation farmer specializing in cattle and crop cultivation. Since his teenage years, he’s managed his own contracting business, working with dedication on various farms. Additionally, Tom shares a special partnership with his father, jointly running the family farm, a testament to his commitment and responsibility.

Tom’s approach to life is grounded in practicality, yet he possesses a rare ability to find humour even in serious situations, happily laughing at himself. When he’s not tending to the farm, Tom finds joy in attending country music festivals and horse shows, with a deep passion for exploration and travel.

Above all, Tom believes that falling in love is one of life’s most significant pursuits. With an utmost seriousness and genuine sincerity, he searches for “the one,” approaching this quest with a heart full of good humour.

When will the new season of Farmer Wants A Wife premiere?

After many months of anticipation, Seven has finally given us a timeframe for when we can expect the five new farmers to arrive on our screens, revealing that the 2024 season of Farmer Wants a Wife will return after Easter. 

Based on the 2023 season, fans can anticipate that the farmer’s newest quest for love will kick off in early April, with the emotional finale wrapping up around late May/early June.

Who are the hosts of Farmer Wants A Wife 2024? 

Returning to Farmer Wants a Wife for the second year running is former Sunrise presenter Samantha Armytage, with fan-favourite host Natalie Gruzlewski also returning to guide the five new farmers on their journey to finding ‘The One.’ 

Speaking with TV Week at the 63rd TV Week Logie Awards red carpet, Sam described the newly cast farmers as “gorgeous”, also hinting at a “few new surprises” for the season ahead.

“I can’t give away too much but let’s just say we’ve already been inundated,” she told us. “The single women of Australia love farmers. So it’s going to be a good season coming up.”
