He may have been a controversial Farmer Wants A Wife 2020 contestant, but Sam Reitano and his fiancée Katelen’s have put it all behind them as they celebrated their baby’s gender reveal on Instagram.
On his Instagram, the Queensland native posted a video of him and Katelen standing on the shore with a large party popper in his hands.
When Sam pulls the popper, a hot pink confetti explosion erupts to reveal the couple is having a baby girl.
Katelen seems to be over the moon about the revelation as she is seen jumping up and down after the popper’s initial shock.
Sam also seemed stoked as he couldn’t wipe the smile from his giddy face.
The next image on the slide is a detailed 3D rendering of the latest sonogram that shows Sam’s supporters a very inside look into the pregnancy.
Sam captioned the post, “Myself and Katelen would like to say we found out today, we are expecting a baby GIRL in August!
“We are very excited and can not wait!”
The couple announced their pregnancy in December, and they are set to wed in the coming months.
This is not Katelen’s first pregnancy as she has a son from another relationship, but everyone seems to get along well, as Sam posts many photos and videos of himself and his stepson to be.
All this news comes months after Farmer Sam shocked fans of the show not once but twice.
Sam failed to connect with any of the four women he dated on the show but on the reunion episode, he showed up with a new girlfriend, Kristen.
The couple was quite fresh and had only been dating for a few weeks after meeting on Instagram, but at the time, that didn’t stop Sam from gushing about the relationship.
As he declared on the show that Kristen was, “The best thing that’s come into my life.”
Then, Sam confused fans when he announced his engagement to another woman, now his future baby, mamma Katelen.
At the time, viewers were blindsided by the news as the announcement occurred mere hours after the finale aired.
The odd timing was bizarre for the show’s fans, but as time has gone on, it seems Sam has finally found someone to be serious with.
