Henry Cavill has announced that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.
Taking to Instagram to celebrate his first Father’s Day as a father-to-be, Henry shared a selfie from his baby’s nursery alongside the caption. “Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there. Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon. Any tips??”
The 41-year-old’s post comes two months after he first let slip that he and Natalie were expecting their first child. Speaking to Access Hollywood, the Superman star shared that his parents inspired him to become a father, adding that “Natalie and I are both very excited” for their next chapter as parents.
Prior to confirming the exciting news, Henry made a rare handful of comments about fatherhood, most recently revealing his outlook on life with children to Men’s Health in 2017.
“If I ever have kids one day, I want to be the dad who’s running around after them. If I do have kids… I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling around like, ‘Ok, I’m just going to catch a breather.'”
