‘It was the hardest moment of my life moving away from my family on the Gold Coast,’ Brant wrote in a long post alongside the black and white snap.

‘Taking Miller away from his cousins and family who he loves so much! Today my parents flew back home after being here to help us while I had Houston.’

The 30-year-old continued: ‘I did not expect to be so heartbroken all over again that they had to leave. It feels like now having two children makes the pain twice as bad.

‘I try so hard to just be thankful for the relationship I have with my parents in the first place and that they are so incredible and loving with my children.

‘But, today – I just can’t seem to shift into that mindset. I’m just sad. I was worried it’d feel this way after having to move our whole life away and having a second baby without my support network and it’s as sad as I thought it would be! If not worse.’

Brant added: ‘Not much I can do about it other than just recognise it, allow myself to feel and accept this emotion… and then grow from it.

‘Above everything, I’m so incredibly blessed for what I do have xxx.’

The singer welcomed little Houston with her AFL star partner, Barry Hall last Friday.

Lauren and Barry took to Instagram to announce the birth of their son.
