Former Home and Away star Demi Harman is engaged to Modern Family producer Andrew Brooks!
The 26-year-old actress— who was based in Sydney when she played Sasha Bezmel in the popular soap series— took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, revealing that he got down on one knee on Independence Day.
“Just said yes, FOUR-ever! #happyfourth #brooksfourlyf,” Demi wrote captioned an adorable photo of the pair together, showing off her dazzling oval solitaire diamond engagement ring.
Andrew also took to social media to share the news, posting the same photo with a different caption.
“One lucky son of a gun…” the American based producer wrote.
Demi and Andrew— who works behind the scenes as an assistant producer on the popular ABC sitcom— went public with their relationship in February 2018. The couple began dating shortly after Demi split from her Home and Away co-star, Alec Snow who she dated from 2014 until, late 2017. The pair reportedly split after she moved to America to pursue her career in acting, later telling New Idea that breaking into Hollywood is much harder than she expected.
“It’s a whole new ball game in terms of acting,” she said. “I have high hopes and it’s just a matter of time. It’s hard but it’s all worth it, and it’s exciting because my career can go from nothing to everything very quickly.”
Since confirming her new romance with Andrew, the Australian actress and her now fiance have been non-stop posting loved up snaps to their social media accounts.
