Karlie Klossthis link opens in a new tab uses a little makeup magic to get a plumper pout.

While temporary lip fillers have risen in popularity over the past few years, the supermodel, 26, prefers to use a lip liner in order to achieve a more defined shape.

“I love to have a nice natural lip and so I love to use a lip liner that’s the shade of my lips,” Kloss explains during a makeup tutorial filmed for VogueAustralia.

Her method: ever-so-slightly draw a defined line outside of her natural lip shape for a fuller finish.

“I always cheat my lip shape a little bit,” Kloss admits. “I will overdraw the upper lip and really just fill in and give a nice full shape.”

Kloss isn’t the only star that’s admitted she overlines her lips. Before Kylie Jennerthis link opens in a new tab opened up about using hyaluronic acid-based lip fillers, she was famously known for using makeup to give them a fuller appearance.

“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ But I took that really hard,” Jenner shared during an episode of her E! spin-off seriesLife of Kylie.

“Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it just really affected me. I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally I was like this lip liner isn’t doing it. [I] ended up getting my lips done,” she revealed.
