Model Imogen Anthony will be heading into the new Big Brother Hotel tonight for the all-new season of Big Brother VIP, which will see a number of local and international stars corralled together for the coming weeks.
A few of the ads for the show have labelled Imogen as the ex of radio personality Kyle Sandilands, who is undoubtedly our biggest radio star.
However, there is more to Imogen than just her relationship with Kyle.
She’s prolific on Instagram, and loves to share her love of animals, astrology, fun outfits and various other rogue content people have come to love her for over the years.
Imogen is 30, having been born in February 1991, and she regularly references being an Aquarius across her socials, and how that affects her life.
Despite the fact that she would eventually become a successful model, Imogen was bullied as a teenager, which eventually led her to leave school in year 11.
“I grew up with zero self-confidence and was far from ‘skinny’,” she shared on Instagram.
“Some days I literally had no one to sit with or even talk to,” she revealed.
Imogen dated Kyle for around eight years, beginning when she was in her early 20s, and he was just hitting 40 – the two share a 19-year age gap.
In fact, it’s been reported the pair actually met at his 40th birthday celebrations, with Kyle declaring his interest in Imogen just a few weeks after.
The pair moved in together in Sydney’s expensive Dover Heights, and later purchased a $3 million hobby farm in Robertson, in NSW’s southern highlands.
However, the pair weren’t meant to be, and confirmed their break up in 2020.
Speaking on his breakfast radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Kyle admitted that the pair had separated.
“We haven’t been living together for a few months, quite a few months, unfortunately, it’s run its course,” he explained, with Imogen later confirming the news on social media.
“It was just one of those things that was fun while it lasted and it was great, we enjoyed a lot of things about each other, but some of these things, they come to an end sometimes,” he later said on Mia Freedman’s No Filter podcast.
“It’s not as if we couldn’t get on. It’s just I was going into my twilight years, and she was just becoming a woman.”
Imogen maintained that the pair were still friends, but later posts on her Instagram pointed to a tumultuous breakup.
“I know about gaslighting,” she shared.
“I’ve also never been the greatest judge when it comes to the quality of a man, have I? So we will let that one go,” she said.
Since the separation, Imogen has continued sharing her bizarre content online, which mostly includes incredulous fashion looks.
She shared some insight into her love of fashion while attending Australian Fashion Week earlier this year.
“Surprisingly, people welcomed me [into Fashion Week] with open arms and celebrated my eccentricity, when I had previously been judged for being in a ‘controversial’ relationship,” she admitted.
“From there I decided to embrace the fashion week community and all that came with it, whilst also learning about the industry and throwing myself in head-deep.
“At one stage the attention was great, but it was more the sense of community and art of fashion that I was drawn to.”
As for Imogen’s love life, it does seem she has moved on with a new man, sharing an image of herself in the arms of a man whose face is mostly obscured in the image.
She shared a second of herself smiling at him, while his back was positioned to the camera.
“My Silly Sagittarian 🏹 My Viking ⚔️ Pirate 🏴☠️ Wild Man 🦦 Merman 🧜🏼♂️ Beastie 👹,” she wrote in the caption.
“Thank you for reminding me what it feels to be alive again, as it’s wild, just like you,” she finished.
With these posts appearing in early October, we can’t be sure whether this mystery man appeared before or after Imogen filmed Big Brother VIP, so it will be interesting to see what she brings to the house!
