Following Lisa Wilkinson’s decision to resign from TODAY, KIIS FM radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has confessed that she also threatened to quit last year if she was not given pay parity with Kyle Sandilands.
Henderson, spoke to news.com.au, and revealed that after 17 years of earning less than her co-host, she came to the conclusion that it was time to “finally take a stand.”
“I’ve been in that situation over the years where you do get frustrated that the women aren’t getting equal pay to men and they’re seen somehow as less worthy,” the 42-year-old said.
“You get to a point where you know when you’re ready to walk and I think Lisa was obviously at that point as well.”
Nowadays, Jackie O is on par with Kyle’s $20 million dollar five-year contract.

Meanwhile, Kyle had a giggle at Karl Stefanovic’s salary as it did not compare to the amount he rakes in.
