Plenty of Married At First Sight alums have flocked to OnlyFans in recent weeks, sparking questions around when other reality TV stars like The Bachelor’s Holly Kingston and Jimmy Nicholson will be joining the platform.

On Tuesday night the couple, who met on the show’s 2021 season, took to Instagram to reveal exactly when they’ll be starting an account on the adult site… and the answer is never.

“We get this question a lot and we figured now is a good time to just answer it once and for all,” Holly said in a series of videos posted to her Instagram Stories.

“No judgement to anyone who does have OnlyFans, but I think there has been a little bit of a trend in people coming off reality shows and leveraging that degree of fame to then sell nudes online.”

Reality TV fans have certainly noticed the trend Holly mentioned, especially with the debate surrounding Jackson Lonie and Olivia Frazer joining the site after appearing on TV.

MAFS alum Ines Basic, who has been hugely successful on the platform, previously confirmed to WHO that reality TV stars can build a much bigger following much quicker due to their fame.

Jimmy also appeared in Holly’s Stories and shared his own perspective, which was a little more direct than his girlfriend’s.

“My problem with it is people saying they’re doing it because it’s female empowerment or male empowerment, I think that’s a load of s—t personally,” he said.

“I think you need to be a role model to future generations… if you want to celebrate male or female empowerment, start a charity, donate to breast cancer awareness, prostate cancer awareness, do these things.”

The former Bachelor believes TV stars join OnlyFans as “a way to grab money” and urged those who had signed up to the platform to think about the “example” they’re setting for younger Australians.

Holly added a final statement in the form of a caption on the last clip, which outlined their view that “normalizing selling naked photos on the internet doesn’t equal male/female empowerment”.

The couple added that while they have absolutely no issue with people disagreeing with them or being active on OnlyFans, it’s not something they’re interested in doing.

When WHO shared Holly and Jimmy’s comments to Instagram, former MAFS star
Cyrell Paule was quick to add her thoughts, agreeing with the Bachelor pairing and slamming those who had disagreed with the comments.

“Don’t know why they are getting hate for it,” she added.

“I completely agree. It’s your body. And your choice. But cmon … I think there are better ways of “empowering” one another,” the mum-of-one shared.

“I don’t see why they are getting ridiculed for believing there’s other options with how you want to be a ROLE model. They aren’t hating on your career choice or how you’re making money.”

While it’s clear where Holly, Jimmy and Cyrell stand on the OnlyFans debate, other reality TV stars support the recent spike in stars joining the adult content subscription site.

“More people seem to be finding outlets to create multiple streams of income online, OnlyFans being one of them… the stigma surrounding OnlyFans seems to be fading out,” MAFS alum Ines Basic told WHO earlier this month.

But she added that leaks – like when Domenica Calarco had her nude photos spread by Olivia Frazer on the latest season of MAFS – are all too common, especially when you’re a public figure.
