Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant are expecting their first child and mum-to-be Jules has shared some sweet insights into her pregnancy including the nickname she’s given their unborn bub.
In a post promoting stretch mark oil and cream, Jules posed for three photos cradling her bump, dressed in black underwear with a sheer white robe over the top.
“One of the most precious parts of my pregnancy has been connecting with my gorgeous growing baby,” she wrote in the caption.
“Rubbing my bump with @lovekins_australia Stretch Mark Oil and Stretch Mark Cream twice a day, is such a special ritual, to really stop and have a moment between just the two of us.”
Jules went on to say that she’s been talking to her unborn child and in doing so, revealed the adorable nickname she’s given them.
“It’s so amazing to know that the baby can hear me now, so I tell #babycub each day exactly what I’m doing and why, and that I don’t think my belly button will pop but who knows!” she added.
Jules’ followers were blown away by the maternity photos and shared their support in the comments.
“Perfection in one photo,” one wrote.
Cyrell Paule, who was one of Jules’ fellow brides on MAFS season six and welcomed her own son Boston this year, also penned: “Honestly this is my fave pregnancy shot!”
One follower even tried to guess the baby’s sex commenting: “I have a feeling that you are having a girl,” to which Jules replied, “You and 98 per cent of everyone haha.”
The former MAFS bride has called for cyberbullying to become a criminal offence after falling victim to online trolling.
In her Instagram Stories, Jules revealed she even went to the police, but they said that since it wasn’t done repeatedly and there were no death threats it wasn’t considered harassment.
“I’m pretty certain that that proves something that has to change here and there has to be accountability for people’s behaviour and what they do,” she said.
“Yes there’s things in place for us to protect ourselves but that still gives people every right in the world that they can be absolutely down right horrible for no reason to cause harm and effect.”
Jules and Cam announced their pregnancy back in April, just months after their lavish official wedding in November 2019.
Mum-to-be Jules confessed to the publication that she didn’t expect to fall pregnant so quickly.
“So I had it in my head that it was going to be a problem, but on the flip side, I think my saving grace was because all my focus was on launching my Figur shapewear line, it wasn’t the centre of my universe. I wasn’t obsessing over it. And for that, I’m so grateful.”
