Network TV presenter Karl Stefanovic made a startling confession about his split from Cassandra Thorburn on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning.
The Aussie tv personality revealed that he “didn’t care” towards the end of his marriage with his ex-wife.

In the midst of a discussion about morning habits with co-host Kyle Sandilands, Karl revealed that prior to his relationship with Jasmine Yarbrough – who he married in Mexico last year – he used to make “a lot of noise” in the morning.
“I did used to make a lot of noise, though. Crashing around, opening doors, shaving -”
“You didn’t care,” Kyle said.
“No, I didn’t care.”
Seeming to realise his mistake, Karl appeared to backtrack.
“No, no…I did care…”
As usual, Kyle didn’t let the Nine host off easily.
“Is that where the marriage when wrong? You were just a loud obnoxious type,” the Australian radio host quipped.
“I was so loud. So loud,” Karl joked back.
The former Today show host also opened up about being married to Jasmine – who is a shoe designer and co-founder of Mara & Mine.
“I have a great time in life, I have a great love, I’ve got a beautiful family.”
At their wedding, where the loving couple said ‘I do’ in front of 200 of their closest friends and family, Jasmine told WHO that her marriage to Karl just felt “right.”
Karl also expressed similar sentiments in his wedding toast.
“Jasmine, you have taken on enormous stress with me, you have taken on another family, media and social criticism that would break most — you’ve weathered it,” said the groom.
“Everyone needs a Jasmine in their life,” Karl added, “if they have it they’re the luckiest people in the world. You are my rock, you are my saviour, you put me back together.”
“I’m a better person because of you, a better friend, a better dad — tonight I celebrate and toast you Jasmine my wife.”
The 44-year-old shares three children with Cassandra Thorburn (Jackson, Ava and River).
The former couple called it quits after 21 years of marriage in 2016, and despite a bitter ending, Cassandra seems to be shining through the breakup.
In June, her Studio 10 co-host, Sarah Harris, told Kyle and Jackie O that Cassandra was keen to reinvent herself following her split from the former Today show host.
The Aussie appeared on Dancing With the Stars earlier this year and returned as a regular guest on Network Ten’s Studio 10 morning talk show.
