In the wake of Kevin Hart’s awards show debacle, many suspected his career would suffer as a result.

However, despite the controversy, it appears the comedian is still being offered mega movie roles! 

This morning, news surfaced that Hart is set to star in Lionsgate and Hasbro’s live-action Monopoly movie. Hart’s label, HartBeat Productions will also contribute. 

Hart took to Instagram to confirm it’s true, writing: “Let’s gooooooooo...We got work to do damn it!!!!! Still grinding with the attitude of an individual that hasn’t accomplished anything yet.”

Directed by Tim Story and written by Andrew Niccol, the film will follow a young boy from the game’s Baltic Avenue. Naturally, he embarks on a mega mission to make an absolute fortune. 

At this point in time, Hart has not confirmed what character he is set to star as.
