Drag sensation Latrice Royale has become a hot favourite to take out RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4, but the large-and-in-charge beauty already has something even better to be smiling about – a happy marriage to husband Christopher Hamblin.
The star, who references building excitement over the then-upcoming big day during All Stars 4, actually wed his beloved on September 29 of this year, at a lavish Atlanta, Georgia ceremony.
Sharing some images on social media, Latrice – real name Timothy Wilcots – was clearly over the moon
‘Thank you so much to our families (Patty Dunn Virgil Dunn Curtis Harris Deborah D Harris Tanell Wilkerson Green Ernest Scooby Green and all our cousins and extended family), my best man Timothy Lee and Aisha Oni, who stood with Christopher,’ wrote the drag superstar, in a joy-filled Instagram post.
‘This is the first of many posts I’m sure, and my gratitude will continue to pour out to all those who attended and witness this momentous occasion. This was something I never saw as a possibility and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.’
The wedding was attended by a string of Drag Race stars, including Bianca Del Rio, Willam, Shangela, Kennedy Davenport and Manila Luzon.
Latrice created an online sensation nearly two years ago by proposing during a gig in Seattle, Washington in front of cheering fans, with the star confessing to once being a supporter of ‘traditional marriage’, ‘but bitch, I’ve had a change of heart!’
