Actress Cate Blanchett reveals her amazing new brunette hair at this year’s BAFTAS (British Academy of Film and Television Awards)
The actress was draped in a stunning jewelled-neck gown by designer Christopher Kane to compliment to her new dark locks.
The 49-year-old actress is known for being ‘famously blonde’ so when one of Hollywood’s most talented and respected artists undergoes a dramatic hair transformation, the world notices!
Blanchett chose the BAFTA’s red carpet as centre stage to debut her rich brown mane which she styled in a sophisticated side part with subtle curls at the end. The star’s hair didn’t lack shine either as seen in the below pics.
We think she looks absolutely incredible as a brunette, but we can’t get too excited as Cate’s big hair change may not be a permanent fixture. According to her make-up artists Morag Ross, the dark colour is for her current role at The National Theatre.
Well, we hope Cate keeps the darker chestnut hue for a while!
