Every week we’ll present you with a celebrity solver! How does Ariana Grande achieve her perfect cat-eye? Leave it to us! Gal Gadot’s dark circles under her eyes? We can help fix those too.

This week, we’re focussing on the ‘no makeup, makeup’ look that the Duchess of Sussex has made so popular.

WATCH: Makeup Artist Amelia Singson demonstrates how to achieve Meghan Markle’s ‘no makeup, makeup’ look that we’ve all become obsessed with:

“Meghan Markle is the Queen of ‘no makeup, makeup’. You won’t find her wearing heavy contour, liquid liner. Nothing like that. Not even on her wedding day,” Amelia expressed.

To achieve this look, Amelia walks us through a step-by-step guide, using minimal, yet effective products.

Step 1: Starting with a hydrating primer, Amelia ensures the skin is staying just that, hydrated while attaining a natural glow. This is followed by moisturising.

Step 2: The ‘base’. Amelia uses an illuminating primer, mixed with concealer.

The reason she does this is so any natural freckles aren’t covered up.

Step 3: Bronzer. For this look, a bronzer is simply used to enhance a natural tan.

Make sure you tap off any excess powder off the brush before going in on the face.

“Just where the sun would naturally hit,” says Amelia, explaining where to apply the bronzer.

Amelia uses the same bronzer as an eyeshadow.

Step 4: Lips and cheeks. For that ‘natural glow, Amelia opts for a cream blush.

This is used for both the cheeks and lips. Nifty.

Step 5: To highlight the face, Amelia uses “another fun multi-purpose product”, which is a clear balm, applied to both the cheeks and eyelids.

Step 6: Dark brown eyeliner is used to make the eyelashes look “thicker”.

Stay away from a black liner if you’re going for the ‘no makeup, makeup’ look.

Step 7: The last step is all about the incredibly important eyebrows. Using a tinted brow gel, it will add colour and help hold them into place.

That’s all there is to it!
