Mandy Moore is a beauty.
She’s got that killer smile, those sparkling eyes and then there’s that hair which is extraordinary even for an A-Lister like her.
It’s long, like way long, and so rich and healthy that it shines like glass.
Even when pulled back into a ponytail as it was for the 2019 SAG Awards it is truly impressive.
The This Is Us star wore a custom-made, one-shouldered black gown created by Jason Wu. With its long train, belted waist and glittering jewel accessories, the dress was the very epitome of modern chic but it was Mandy’s hair style that won our hearts.
The newly-married Mandy (she exchanged vows with Taylor Goldsmith in November, 2018), wore her hair slick and pulled back into a low ponytail.
The ponytail was held tight with an elastic band and then, stylist Ashley Streicher took a small section of hair and wrapped it around the sleek pony to hide the elastic.
It looked striking and bold, but Ashley, 34, wasn’t finished yet.
The celeb stylist who just happens to be good friend of Mandy’s topped the look with a surprising detail.
She took a pin with a pearl accessory and tucked it into the base of the pony so that it peeked out, catching the light every time she turned.
There’s nothing quite like a styling surprise and this one was one of the best.
