25 year old Hungarian model Barbra Palvin has been touted as the newest angel to join the Victoria’s Secret family.
VS took to their Instagram earlier this week to make the announcement.
Captioned, “Drumroll please…introducing @realbarbarapalvin, our newest ANGEL! 🎉” the brand posted the below video introducing Barbara with a highlights reel of all her past VS runway moments that led her to become an ‘official’ angel.
The blue-eyed beauty was thrilled to be the recipient of the coveted angel wings and posted her heartfelt sentiments and gratitude to her 11.2million followers on Instagram. She says, “OFFICIALLY A @victoriassecret ANGEL !
I don’t know where to begin but I’ll try : I never thought it would happen and it has exceeded all my expectations. I’m very excited to announce that I’m officially a @victoriassecret ANGEL ! Thank you for believing in me. There were times where I let my own thoughts hold me back and it was a hard climb away from those but my family , my team, Ed, and everyone at VS they were always there to support me and uplift me. I am proud to represent Hungary, and most importantly, all of you in this new chapter of my life! Thank you all so much again ♥️♥️♥️”
Palvin is currently loved up with heart-throb Dylan Sprouse who posted this adorable Instagram post with a message for all the naysayers, “Here’s to the people who tried to drag her down, cheers!”
Palvin was definitely not an overnight sensation…
Not only has she previously walked the VS runways, but the pillow-lipped beauty is already an established model who has appeared in many fashion magazines over the years as well as being the face of some of the biggest international beauty brands such as Giorgio Armani and L’Oréal.
In 2016, she was named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’s “Rookie of the Year”
