In an unexpected turn of events, Stacey Hampton is now trying to prove she’s innocent by not only questioning the legitimacy of Mikey Pembroke’s lie detector test but confirming she plans to take one herself.

Taking to her Instagram story late last night, the Married At First Sight star began with a lengthy rant about this “nonsense” allegation they slept together, admitting she’s sick and tired of being dragged through the mud.
“I am done talking about this MAFS lie detector saga nonsense. I am going to receive a lot of apologises when you receive this video that you are going to watch next. I am putting it to rest and I am done now.”
The video she is talking about does not disappoint! In a jaw-dropping phone call with an allegedly trained polygraph operator, the expert— who she found off of http://www.privateinvestigator.com.au/— suggested Mikey’s test was inaccurate and unreliable seeing as he wasn’t specifically asked directly whether they had an affair.
As we know, before undergoing the examination, Mikey wrote in a declaration: “I, Michael Pembroke do hereby declare that while at the Sky Suites apartments I had sexual intercourse with Stacey Hampton.”
“If we were doing it we would ask the person directly, ‘Did you have sexual intercourse with such and such?’ We wouldn’t get the examinee to sign a statement and then test him on what was written on the statement,” the polygraph expert told Stacey in a video she recorded and shared to social media. “That’s one step removed and it’s not addressing the issues, it’s about the statement.”
Moments later, Stacey shared a message on her Instagram story that read: “The company I called explained that they saw footage of Mikey and said that is an incorrect way to do a polygraph test.”
She fired up reality star continued: “You do not ask someone to write a statement then refer the questions to the statement. Rather, you simply ask direct questions. Anyone can say anything in statements. His polygraph test is not credible. Case closed. Don’t ever mention any “M” word or name to me again. Unless it’s money. LOL.”
Well, this is certainly a spanner in the works! Mikey seemingly proved he wasn’t lying when, after hours of rigorous testing, the polygraph tester declared: “It is my opinion that you are in fact being truthful to that issue. There was no strong emotional responses indicative of deception to the declaration.”
Mikey scored an average of 10 on each answer— a truthful answer should be three or more meaning he more than tripled the required criteria.
After receiving his results and no doubt breathing a sigh of relief, the single mother of two also attempted to discredit his efforts, claiming we should take the results with a grain of salt because apparently the whole thing was a massive set up…
“Mikey’s lie detector test – done by his dads friend in the police force. Clap clap,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
She also slammed Nine Network, arguing their evidence is “nonsense”.
