This year things are set to be slightly different, with previous contestants set to battle it out for the $250,000 prize money.
Not only that, three new judges have joined the show, with Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo replacing long-time judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston.
Network Ten has announced that MasterChef Australia: Back To Win will air on Ten on Easter Monday – that’s April 13 if you want to mark it in your diaries!
Not only that, but a new trailer has revealed celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay is set to join as a guest judge for the first week.
“We’re in for one of the best seasons in the history of this competition,” he boasts in the trailer.
The new season will see 24 contestants who earned top 10 placings in previous seasons return to the show.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, season three star Hayden Quinn says the competition is going to be fierce.
“My nerves come from the fact that my skillset is very different to other people’s skillset and you know how in life you compare?” said Quinn.
“So the most nerve-racking thing was the fact that I’m going up against these amazing cooks. it’s so important to back yourself and have that self-confidence that you really need to do well.”
