In the new Duchess of Sussex-approved documentary Meghan and Harry, Plus One, a friend of the new royal bursts into tears while defending her over the “Duchess Difficult” label.
Meghan‘s makeup artist and close friend Daniel Martin cried as he told interviewer Gayle King that there was no truth to whispers around the Palace that Meghan was Duchess Difficult.
The 37-year-old is reportedly called the cheeky moniker by royal staffers.
“I think because I know her so well and I know she doesn’t deserve all this negative press,” he said.
As for the “Plus One” component of the documentary, which also features actress Jessica Alba, Daniel said little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is one lucky baby boy.
“There’s just going to be so much love for that baby,” he said.
Of Prince Harry, Daniel remembered a very special moment between the loved Brit and the bridal party at their May 19, 2018 wedding.
“He’s so good with kids,” he said.
“Even when they were doing the family portrait after the wedding with everybody, he was on the floor just playing with the kids and that’s when I knew, like, he’s gonna be the coolest dad.
“This is the dawn of a new generation.
“That their child is going to represent what the world is now.”
