Despite making out with Kaitlynn Carter hours after announcing she’d split from husband Liam Hemsworth, a source close to the former couple claims Miley Cyrus spent months trying to save her marriage to the Australian actor, however they decided to secretly part ways in June.
The insider revealed the “Wrecking Ball” singer, 26, begged Liam to go to couple’s therapy, however “he didn’t come close to meeting her halfway”. So, basically, they’re implying Liam gave up on their marriage a long time ago.
It has since been said that Miley “was the one to end” their seven-month-long marriage after revealing “she wanted an open relationship” and “wasn’t ready for just one person for forever.”

The jaw-dropping claims come after an insider close to the pop sensation and The Hills: New Beginnings reality star revealed the duo— who were photographed making out while relaxing on a yacht in Italy—have been “hooking up for a couple of months”.
And, in an unexpected turn of events, Kaitlynn’s ex-husband Brody Jenner is, apparently, “totally okay with it”.
“It was no secret,” the insider revealed, admitting Kaitlynn and Brody— who announced their split last week— had discussed her relationship with Miley in the past. “Brody is still friends with them. There’s no drama. [Kaitlynn] had some other priorities [in her marriage], and you now know what they are.”
Yesterday, Brody weighed in on their hookup, posting a photo of himself to Instagram with the caption: “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee, was quick to make a joke in the comments section saying: “Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out,” adding a kissy-face emoji.
Brody responded, “@brandonthomaslee watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon,” along with the emoji of two men.
Liam has been taking a different approach during this difficult time, with a source close to the Hunger Games star claiming he’s “heartbroken” his ex of nearly a decade is flaunting her new romance so soon after they shocked the world with their breakup announcement.
“Liam’s heartbroken, and his family cannot believe she is flaunting this for the world to see,” an insider close to the former couple told Radar Online, adding The Hunger Games actor’s family, “thinks she’s a disgrace.”
Speaking from Byron Bay in NSW where he has been hiding from the spotlight at his brother Chris Hemsworth’s $4.3 million home, the 29-year-old said yesterday that he has been finding life tough away from the former Disney actor.
“You don’t understand what it’s like,” Liam told Daily Mail Australia when asked about the split while out for a frozen yoghurt.
“I don’t want to talk about it mate.”
Rumours of a potential break up between Liam and Miley spread like wildfire last month when the 26-year-old “Party in the USA” hitmaker was caught arguing with Liam in public. Not long after their awkward spat, Miley ranted “I’m f**ing sick of men,” whilst performing her hit tune Wrecking Ball at Glastonbury.
