Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland  Bloom – born 2011

Kerr became a mum for the first time on January 6, 2011, when she welcomed Flynn with then husband Orlando Bloom. When she and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor separated in 2013, she made Flynn the ultimate priority.

“When Orlando and I first separated our priority was always Flynn and making sure that, you know, Flynn was happy and his needs were always at the forefront, and so we were very amicable from the beginning,” Miranda told Nova FM’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny in October 2020.

Now that Bloom is engaged to singer Katy Perry, with whom he shares a daughter, Daisy Dove, and Kerr happily remarried, their blended family is working wonders.

“I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing,” the model and Kora Organics founder told Drew Barrymore on her chat show in November 2020.

“When it comes to special occasions, when we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises [about] what is the best for our whole family. We really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that’s the most important thing.”

“You have filled my heart with joy from the very moment you were born. I’m so proud of how kind, creative and thoughtful you are. You inspire me every day.”

And from the sounds of things, Flynn’s kindness remains an enduring quality.

In December 2024, Kerr described her eldest son as kind and gentle. “He’s such a kind boy, very gentle, very thoughtful,” she told Vogue Australia. “I remember when I was pregnant with each of his brothers he would be the one getting me the bucket when I had to vomit.”

Now six, Hart is “very cerebral”, Kerr revealed. “He was doing adult Lego from when he was literally, like, four,” she told Vogue. “He has an engineering mind and he also loves maths. He’s always thinking and asking questions: ‘Why is this happening?’ ‘How do we do that?’ He’s more in his mind, like his dad.”

Pierre Kerr Spiegel – born 2024

The baby of the family is Pierre, born in February, 2024. At the time of his birth, Kerr said she felt “blessed” to welcome a fourth son into our family.

“We call him peaceful Pierre,” Kerr told Vogue Australia. ““He’s literally a zen baby. We’re just like, ‘Where did you come from?’ The house is noisy and there’s a lot happening and he just sits there and just looks at everyone and he’ll look directly into your soul.”

The busy mum has admitted she is now content with the size of her family. “I literally feel done,” she told Vogue Australia.

“I know Evan would have 10 if it was up to him, but I just feel pulled and I’m not really someone who can just let someone else raise my kids.”

Clearly, like many working mums, Kerr feels the the struggle between spending time with her children as well as being a good role model and focussing on her career.

“Being a mother, there’s that constant mother guilt that you feel where you’re like, ‘Oh, I could always do so much more,” she told Harpers Bazaar.

“But I also think there’s another side to that where it’s important for our children to see us have a strong work ethic and teach them the value of work and earning their own living.”
