Almost a year after tying the knot, Bachelor in Paradise couple, Alisha Aitken-Radburn and Glenn Smith have announced they are expecting their first child together.
Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a photo of themselves holding a sonogram photo, alongside the caption: Been keeping a lil secret. Baby Smith arriving September.”
“Congrats,” replied fellow Bachelor alumn Brooke Blurton. “I’ve been waiting for this!,” added Irena Srbinovska, “Congratulations again guys, so incredibly happy for you both. Can’t wait for our Mum’s group sessions.”
The pair, who met on the 2020 season of Bachelor in Paradise took to Instagram to share glimpses of their stunning wedding in April 2023.
“MR + MRS SMITH!” Alisha captioned her post from the big day, which was held in Western Australia.
In attendance was fellow Bachie couple Irena Srbinovska and Locky Gilbert who also tied the knot earlier that year.
“When we met Glenn and Alisha we just clicked, their love is infectious, their kindness unmatched and their love story like no other so to witness these lovers tie the knot was an absolute honour,” Irena wrote on Instagram in a tribute to the newlyweds.
Former 2018 Bachelor contestants, Cat Henesey and Brooke Blurton were also spotted at the reception.
Alisha and Glenn announced their engagement in 2021, “MEET MY FIANCÉ! 😭🎉💛13.10.21 – Sunset at South Perth Foreshore. My heart is bursting,” Alisha wrote in her Instagram caption.
Glenn shared his own loving post writing: “She said yes! 💍 I get to marry my dream girl and best friend! Words can’t express how happy I am, Not just today but every day! The moment I met you in Fiji I knew you were the one. I love you ❤️ @alisha.aitkenradburn. Ps. You still haven’t finished your paint by numbers “
Alisha first rose to fame on Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018. The year after she starred on season two of Bachelor in Paradise but it was third time lucky when she met Glenn, a former suitor of Angie Kent, during her second stint in Paradise.
Shortly after the season aired, the pandemic hit and Alisha made the bold decision to pack up her life in Sydney and move over to WA to be with her new boyfriend.
Prior to their engagement, Alisha was already speaking about their plans to have kids.
“It was just me and my mum growing up and Glenn has such a big family. I want my kids and grandchildren to all be running around,” she told WHO.
