Amanda Bynes has reportedly been placed on a psychiatric hold after being found wandering the streets of Los Angeles.
An eyewitness told TMZ the actress, who was spotted walking in downtown LA early Sunday morning without any clothes on waved a car down, telling the driver she was coming down from a psychiatric episode.
Amanda called 911 herself before law enforcement took her to a nearby police station and she was placed on a psychiatric hold.
Another source, claiming to be a close friend of the actress revealed to the publication that she is currently hospitalized and receiving care.
Whilst the actress’s lawyer hasn’t commented, her ex-fiance Paul Michael has told Page Six that she has been “off her meds.”
The news comes almost one year after Amanda’s conservatorship was officially terminated after nine years.
The star, whose mother was her conservator since 2013 has been open about her bipolar diagnosis.
Last year she thanked fans for their “love and support” in an Instagram video following her conservatorship termination – both her parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes supported her bid for freedom.
