The rapper is reportedly living in inhumane conditions at the “disease-ridden” Kronoberg detention center.

According to TMZ, an official from the U.S. Embassy in Sweden told ASAP Rocky’s team that the U.S. Consulate representative who visited Rocky in the jail said, “Walking into that place was like walking into a toilet.”

The Embassy official noted that many prisoners of the Swedish jail had lost “a shocking amount of weight,” after visiting them over the past year.

A source told TMZ that Rocky has been “sleeping on a yoga mat with no blankets. There is a prisoner in the next cell with severe mental issues who slams his head against the concrete wall and hurls feces every which way … feces that are not cleaned up.”

The source also said the American rapper doesn’t have access to clean water or edible food.

“For the first 5 days A$AP Rocky ate an apple a day, and that’s it,” wrote TMZ.

The Swedish prison is reportedly filthy and “disease-ridden.”

John Ehmann, Rocky’s manager, launched an online petition Tuesday, stating that the Kronoberg detention center had the rapper under “24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life-sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions.”

Fredrik Wallin, the governor of the Kronoberg detention center, disputed the claims, telling Page Six that the Swedish prison is “recently renovated,” clean and offers three meals a day to its prisoners.

Wallin didn’t confirm whether the rapper was detained in the Kronoberg detention center, however, the Swedish courts told Page Six that Rocky was being held there.

ASAP Rocky faces a sentence of up to six years if he is convicted.

Swedish authorities have complicated the rapper’s efforts to receive help from the State Department.

Rocky’s arrest has prompted artists such as Tyler, The Creator and Schoolboy Q to swear off Sweden for future tours in protest of Rocky’s treatment.

“no more sweden for me, ever” Tyler, The Creator wrote in a tweet.

Fans of ASAP Rocky took to Twitter to share messages of support for the rapper, tagging #FREEROCKY in their tweets.
