The stars of Bachelor In Paradise have been left ‘mortified’ by the strategic editing on this years season of the reality TV series.

Sources told Daily Mail Australia that various cast members have been anxious while watching the series air, unsure of how they’ll be portrayed from episode to episode.
“They’re leaving huge stuff out, taking thing totally out of context and even cutting and pasting random sentences together,” one source revealed.
“The contestants feel like the show that made it to air is so much different than what actually happened on the island.”
“Everybody knows that reality TV is produced and manipulated, but this season felt worse than anybody expected.” the source continued to add.
Current cast members have also publicly challenged the network about the show’s editing on Instagram.
In a recent Instagram post, Nathan Favro called out the former Bachelor In Paradise star Keira Maguire for scrutinising the current season, saying that she should know better because she’s ‘experienced what it’s like and the process of editing.’
Rachael Gouvignon has also spoke out about one of her scenes on the show saying it was, ‘completely manipulated.’
‘I’m actually shocked with what they’ve done and it saddens me with how they have portrayed me,’ she continued to add.
The brunette was referring the scene where she appeared to fall or faint in reaction to Richie Strahan not giving her a rose, but a closer look revealed editing fail that showed that her reaction had been taken out of context.
Even some of last season’s contestants have also criticised the show’s editing.
Jake Ellis spoke on the Life After Reality TV podcast and claimed that some of his confessional interviews were aired out of context.
“I noticed watching it, which the viewers wouldn’t, that either myself or Megan [Marx] said something in an interview in the first two weeks, then it was used in the later parts of the show,” he said.
Megan also said that some of the things she said in the first week of the show were played in the final episode as if she had just said them.
Blake Colman also claimed that he had a relationship with Megan on the show that was completely edited out.
Apparently, all the Bachelor stars run in the same circles and have been chatting to each other about just how badly this season has been edited.
One former Bachelor star, who wasn’t asked to go to Paradise this season, told Daily Mail Australia that they’re relieved to have missed out because of how bad the experience has been for casts this year.
“I’m glad I didn’t do it now because I know a lot of people from this season are really disappointed by how it’s all played out,” said the former bachelor contestant.
Even some audience members have taken to social media to point out some of the more questionable editing techniques.
In particular, noting obvious outfit changes and unusual-sounding audio.
“Can anyone else hear breaks in the voice-overs, like Channel Ten is editing what they say?” wrote one viewer.
Another tweeted: “Editing is bad… one sec Paddy [Colliar] has his flowery jumpsuit on and next second his blue shorts… all with the same guy arriving.”
It looks like there are some real concerns from viewers, contestants and EVEN past contestants over the authenticity and portrayal of the real storylines on this years reality TV series.
