She had her heart broken twice on national television – first by the Honey Badger on last season’s Bachelor and then once again last night on Bachelor in Paradise – but Cassandra Woods has finally found love.
Taking to Instagram last night, Cass introduced her followers to her new boyfriend, rugby player Tyson Davis.
“It may seem like Bachelor in Paradise was a little like De Ja Vu for me, but the intensity of both those experiences and any pain I felt is all worth it since having this guy walk back in to my life at the most perfect time,” she wrote.
“And yes I say “back” into my life, as we met back in 2017 😱 I can gladly say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. And I’m so grateful for all of you for being so supportive and protective of me. My heart is so full ❤️.
“And Oi guys guess what… the ”dream journal” was right, I wanted to meet my soul mate when I was 23… and guess what I met him at 23.”
And now the secret is out, Tyson – who plays centre for the Warringah Rats rugby union club on Sydney’s Northern Beaches – has taken his Instagram profile off private to reveal several loved-up snaps of the pair.
During Sunday’s episode, Cassandra broke down in tears after Richie revealed he didn’t want to get into a long-distance relationship.
‘You’re in Sydney. I’m in Perth.. It’s probably the biggest thing that’s playing on my mind,’ he admitted.
‘But I have gone down this avenue before and I know how hard this would be so hard and I know by us trying its gonna potentially do a lot of damage. Not just to you Cass, but to me as well,’ he said.
‘It’s so cliche to say it’s not you, it’s me. But it’s not me and it’s not you.’
