Clearly, time hasn’t stood still for the Sophia Grace, who came to international prominence via childhood YouTube stardom and appearances on The Ellen Show back in 2011. Now she’s excited to be stepping back into the limelight – looking very grown up at 15 – in her new rap video, for song Can’t Sleep.
‘People saying they want me to be the same as I was before,’ she says in her video. ‘It annoys me because I’m not that person anymore and they always ask me to go back to how I was, but I’m different and that’s not who I am, so I want to show people I’m a different person now and I’ve changed, but that’s OK because everyone changes.’
Despite the spotlight she’s lived with from a young age, Sophie Grace is hardly a show business brat, with the teen confessing her biggest ambition for 2019 is getting good school grades, rather than just trying to top the charts.
Meanwhile, Rosie is 12, and still has a very popular YouTube presence, recently revealing to fans she’s got braces.
‘I went for the plain metal ones because all of my friends have them and I wanted to fit in,’ she told viewers. ‘They also offer you colour bands on your second appointment so I’m definitely going to get blue or light pink.’
