It’s a war of Instagram words between showbiz’s most short-lived celebrity couple!
Just days after Miley Cyrus penned a thinly veiled Insta dig at ex-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter (they were an item for a grand total of one month), it appears as though Kaitlynn is also letting off some steam via Instagram.

The reality star – who broke up with husband Brody Jenner in August – took to her Insta stories to share a quote about being kind to those who aren’t treating you right, writing: “I may never know/understand what someone is going through”.
Could she be hinting at her break-up with Miley?
The Hills: New Beginnings star posted the following quote: “Kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world no matter what you look like”.
“My dad used to say to me every single day when he dropped me off at school ‘be kind to everyone you meet’,” the reality star continued.
“Still doing my best to live by that mantra. I may never know/understand what someone is going through but I always choose to look at other’s behaviour from a place of love and respect and compassion and be kind no matter what.”
Over the weekend, Miley penned a lengthy message about love and loyalty, which appeared to be directed at Kaitlynn and the Slide Away singer’s ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

“Waking up surrounded by animals is my favourite way to start a morning,” Miley began.
“I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions… the best part about animals is that they are careless about the details.
“They live by the golden rule… Love & be loved. Nothing in between. No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age, sex… They love back 100X… all they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone 🖖)”
Kaitlynn’s retaliation follows news that Miley’s ex in-laws, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are furious with the way the American star has been treating Liam.
According to Radar Online, Chris is so infuriated with Miley’s post-split behaviour, he’s issued a stern warning, begging the singer to stop “playing games” with his younger brother’s heart.
