In the wake of news that South Sydney Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess, 30, and his wife Phoebe, 29, split before Christmas—just weeks after welcoming their second child, a son named Billy— it has been confirmed that Sam’s brother Luke Burgess, 31, has also moved on from the mother of his child, Yolanda Hodgson.
On Jan. 6, Luke made his new romance with British woman Lindsey Johnston Instagram official, with a pic of the pair posing below the Sydney Harbour Bridge. “Token tourist photo,” the former NRL player captioned the cosy snap.
Luke shares a five-year-old daughter, Grace, with Yolanda, whom he dated on-and-off for the seven years. The former couple announced their split in July 2016, before reuniting in November 2017.
New love Johnston, who is from Manchester where Burgess played for British rugby league club Salford Red Devils, had previously alluded to her budding romance, posting a pic of herself with Luke with the caption: “Happy New Year. Roll on 2019. I love this human.”
