Married At First Sight’s Elizabeth Sobinoff won the hearts of the nation when she was viciously fat-shamed by her reality TV groom, Sam Ball during this year’s series.
And despite rocking her gorgeous curves over the past few months, the jewellery shop manager took to Instagram earlier this week to show off her newly slimmed-down figure.
Fans went wild over the snap of the 27-year-old wearing a figure-hugging orange dress.
‘Give her the throne she deserves!’ one fan exclaimed.
‘How did you do it?’ another fan probed, asking Lizzie for the details behind her weight loss.
The post comes after the reality star told her fans they should be careful when commenting on her size, explaining her chronic illness was behind her fluctuating weight.
One of my illnesses is porphyria, how I manage mine is through a high carb diet, I use chocolate because my body can tolerate it right now ( before I get the “there is healthier alternatives” it is working for me currently and I get scared to try a lot of foods because my body also rejects ‘healthy food’ too, it’s not bias),’ she said.
‘Also lots of people out there have to be on medication, unfortunately weight gain can be a common side effect for a lot of chronic illness meds or chronic illness in general. Sometimes the weight gain in this can be more than 20kgs.’
Elizabeth went on: ‘I know I seem light-hearted in this video, but in actual fact this type of weight gain can be soul destroying. Yes, chronic illness can affect your weight, you can loose a lot, you can gain a lot.’
