Not since Fergie and Princess Diana has the world been so intrigued by a pair of royal-in-laws.
This week a report was leaked about Duchess Catherine being left “in tears” at Meghan Markle’s wedding dress fitting.
The royal-mum-of-three tried to defuse the situation, speaking fondly about her sister-in-law.
But now another claim is making headlines about Kate and Meghan.
Watch Below: Here’s what we know about Meghan and Catherine’s fight.
PEOPLE report that despite murmurs that the Cambridges don’t get along with Sussex couple – the fab four had a hoot last year.
“They really loved Christmas and all had a wonderful time,” the source shared.
“I think the two women got on — they are definitely not best friends, but it was a really special time for them all to spend together.”
Unlike the Cambridge kids, Harry and Meghan’s little one will grow up at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, about 25 miles from Kensington Palace.
The move supports the idea that Harry and William want to split up their court.
A factor that could be weighing in on the “feud” could be the observation that the Queen prefers Kate.
Royal reporter Ashely Pearson has claimed the Queen sees qualities in Kate “that cannot be seen in Meghan.”
In a 2016 Amazon Prime documentary William & Kate: The Journey, Pearson reveals the reason Her Majesty is “very fond” of Kate.
“She likes her middle-class values,” says Pearson, adding “She likes that she’s close to her family.
“Kate has never tried to garner extra attention for herself. There’s nothing flashy or showy.”
The observation from Pearson separates the Duchess of Cambridge apart from Meghan, who remains distant with her father and relatives.
Adding, Pearson asserts that the Queen wanted to see Kate’s traits in her son’s wives, Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson.
“Kate tows the company line all the time, and that’s something that Queen Elizabeth very much wanted from Diana – which didn’t happen.
“She wanted [it] from Sarah Ferguson – which didn’t happen.”
She also reveals that royal insiders have indicated Kate is a “special favourite” of the Queen’s because of the way she consistently supports the family.
