Well known Australian TV reporter Mike Willesee has passed away after losing his battle with throat cancer. He was 76 years old.

Wilessee’s career spanned more than five decades, working for the ABC, the Nine network and the Seven network.

At the ABC he was the host of Four Corners, before moving to the Channel Nine in to host A Current Affair.

Willesee also worked for Channel Seven, where he presented a nightly current affairs program called Willesee at Seven.
