On what would’ve been Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s first wedding anniversary, the singer has taken to Instagram to share a message – but could she be missing her ex?

Posting a workout snap on her story on December 23 – the date she and Liam married in a secret ceremony in 2018 – Miley wrote a lengthy message about the importance of self-love and self-care, and how she was incorporating both on the significant day.
“I’ve been trying to be super gentle on myself and even if it’s just a walk with my mama or dogs in the morning!” the 27-year-old shared.
“Movement is an important ingredient to self love/care!”
Throwing out suggestions to her followers as to what self-care might look like, the singer wrote:
“Take time off, relax, enjoy warm meals, indulge in the sweets we usually try to stay away from but alsoooooooo KEEP MOVING!”
Although Miley has moved on with Aussie singer Cody Simpson since her split from Liam, the date in question is no doubt emotional for the star, who shared that she hit the gym in an attempt to bolster her mood.
“I did a light round of pilates just to release some healthy endorphins and I felt super positive and lifted right after my practice,” she wrote.
The previous day, Miley took to Twitter to talk about feelings of loneliness at Christmastime.
“Was feeling like s–t cause I couldn’t be with the one I loved. Even with a house full of family and friends I still felt alone…” she posted, sharing a link to her track My Sad Christmas Song and explaining why she wrote it a few years ago.
“In ways that still feels relevant and someone reading this right now could possibly relate.”
The timing of the star’s tweets are interesting – not only because of the date of the wedding anniversary, but also thanks to current unrelenting rumours that Cody’s been unfaithful.
Page Six reports that the 22-year-old was spotted “drinking and flirting with girls” while texting girlfriend Miley.
“He was drinking and flirting with girls,” a witness told the publication. “He was texting Miley while there.”
“He was with all these girls and one was almost fainting, and he kissed her on the lips with no tongue.”
The report went on to say that Simpson, was also guilty of “texting” Miley while “drinking and flirting” with girls.
However the Aussie singer has denied any wrongdoing to E! News.
“There is absolutely no truth to this story. Cody went out with a friend and all the rest is fabricated. Period”.
Cody’s sister, Alli, has also gone on the record and confirmed that her brother and the Wrecking Ball singer are still very much together.
“Yes [they’re] together for sure,” she told The Daily Mail.
