BREAKING: Urgent recall of salmonella contaminated free range eggs

Southern Highland Organics free range eggs have been urgently recalled because of positive salmonella testing. 

In what is the third recall this year for eggs, Southern Highland Organics eggs are being pulled off shelves due to contamination fears. 

Affected eggs have been available for sale in Woolworths (NSW and VIC), IGA (NSW), and other independent retailers (NSW).

They include Southern Highland Organic Eggs 300g (6 pack), Southern Highland Organic Eggs 700g (12 pack), with best before dates: All dates up to and including 09/05/2019.

New South Wales Food Authority issued an alert advising Southern Highland Organics eggs were being recalled on Saturday. 

Consumers should not eat this product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund,” says New South Wales Food Authority in its recall statement.
