Rachael is caught on camera telling fellow villain Abbie that she thinks “it’s too far infor me to play catch-ups” when it comes to getting Matt’s heart.
She then drops: “Like, obviously, I mean,I’ve got a plan B.”
“I’ve got a little bit of aschoolgirl crush on a crew member.I’ve been giving him some winkshere and there. And, yeah, so I thoughthe could be my plan B.Everyone’s got one. He’s like your ideal guy,so, like, obviously I’m going tonot miss the opportunityto try to pursue somethingwith somebody.”
“I think my plan B is more my cupof tea because it’s a smart goal. You know, specific, measurable, obtainable, realistic,good-looking, nice, funny,he lives near me. (LAUGHS)So, I’m definitely gonnahook myself up with him.Hopefully, he doesn’t lose his job.”
Our real question: For a show that has so many cameras…
The people’s hero Mary decides she needs to tell Matt that some of the girls didn’t sign up to the reality tv show for everlasting love.
“I wanna tell Matt the truth.I know, it’s scandalous.I know, I know.”
“Bye, bitch.”
At the cocktail party, she tells Matt the truth.
“There’s one girlin the house, and she’s actually interestedin someone in the crew.I’m talking about Rachael. She…yeah, she’s actuallyinterested in this other person, and, you know, she asked for his surname and things like that, trying to get his phone number. So, I don’t want to go homebecause I really like youand, you know, someone that’s notinterested end up staying.”
Matt said, “I’m not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea…”
A producer confirmed: “Yeah.Um…Rachael has handed her numberto a crew member.”
Matt shared, “One of the reasonsI’ve kept Rachael hereis because I really appreciatehow honest she is,but this goes inthe opposite direction of that.”
MATT’S ENTIRE SHOWDOWN WITH RACH:
Matt says, “OK, if you’re not interested, and you’ve got your eye on someone else, then that’s fine. “
“My head is not so far up my arse that I think 28 people are all gonna be interested in me. That’s not an issue here. The issue I’ve got is, you know, I sent home Cas last week. Before that, I sent Brie home. These are girls who, as far as I can understand, had an interest in pursuing a relationship. So, I’m just trying to understand what was the… ..the motivation to keep sticking around if you’ve made your mind up to pursue, I guess, a plan B as you… Cause I mean, as I understand it,this isn’t, like, a tonight thing.”
Rach replied: “No, it’s 100% a joke. That’s literally it.And obviously, all the girlshave literally taken itand rolled with it to make melook bad at this stage. I don’t have anything to prove here, you know what I mean? Like, I…”
Matt then ended the night for Rach.
“Yeah, I guess I just dowish it was a casethat you would have been honestand upfront, because it’s…yeah, something that could have been justkind of addressed earlier, I guess. There’s no point, obviously, sticking around,’cause, um…yeah,I think you’re not interested. Can we get a car brought in?”
“Before we’d go to bed, all the girls in the house would joke that only one girl was going to end up with Matt,” she began.
“The crew were good-looking, so everyone had their own guy they’d joke about and say, ‘This guy is hot,’ and, ‘This guy is mine when I leave the house.'”
