YouTube star PewDiePie has married his long-time girlfriend, Marzia Bisognin, in London – eight years after they first met.

The couple tied the knot at the Temperate House in Kew Gardens on Monday, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

PewDiePie – real name Felix Kjellberg – announced the news on social media yesterday.

The YouTuber shared a series of photos from their special day.

“We are married!!! I’m the happiest I can be ♥️ I’m so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman,” PewDiePie wrote in the caption.

The Swedish Vlogger was all-smiles alongside his bride in each of the stunning wedding photos.

A source told MailOnline that the wedding was held on a late afternoon in London and described the event as a “small and intimate affair with just a select handful of people.”

“The guests used the Elizabeth Gate, the same entrance as customers. There didn’t appear to be much security put in place, just a few members of staff surrounding the venue with the wedding in clear view of visitors,” said the eyewitness.

“At one point, PewDiePie and Marzia appeared to be by themselves inside the Nash Conservatory by Elizabeth Gate as guests waited outside.”

Marzia also shared a post on Instagram, including several photos taken at the wedding.

The 26-year-old penned a sweet caption that revealed just how significant the day was for the famous couple.

“Yesterday, the 19th of August – after exactly 8 years since we met – we celebrated our wedding with our closest friends and family,” she wrote.

“It was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever. I am so thankful for all the people that made time to attend the event and helped us celebrate our marriage. I feel like I’m the luckiest person and I’m so full of love. Incredibly ecstatic to be able to call Felix my husband for the rest of our lives.”

According to The Daily Mail, the pair met online in 2011, with Marxia moving to Sweden to live with PewDiePie just six months later.

Marzia was a known fan of her future husband’s online career (before they met, her screen name was CutiePieMarzia).

The couple has since joined Joe Sugg, Zoella and Alfie Deyes by moving to the YouTuber hotspot of Brighton, UK.

PewDiePie and Marzia are one of the most followed couples in the world, sharing 107 million YouTube subscribers, 24 million Instagram followers and 22 million Twitter followers.

However, Marzia reportedly left her YouTube channel in October last year after uploading a farewell video to her subscribers.
