The first photos of the royal family at the Christening of Prince Louis have been revealed.
The third child of the Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was baptised in an intimate ceremony at Chapel Royal at St. James’ Palace this morning.
The christening is the first public outing for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and the first time the world has seen the youngest royal since he was born in April this year.
Other royal family members in attendance include Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince Charles with wife Camilla Parker Bowles. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip were notably absent due to pre-booked royal engagements.
From Kate’s side, her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, sister Pippa and brother James were all there to celebrate the important day.
Meghan, who wore an olive-coloured dress, has a special connection to Chapel Royal as she was secretly baptised there just three months ago before her wedding to Prince Harry.
The Christening for Prince George, 4, was also held there, whilst sister Princess Charlotte, 3, was baptised at Sandringham’s St. Mary Magdalene church in Norfolk.
